Driveways

New driveways and driveway replacement for homes and businesses.

Why a concrete driveway

A driveway takes the weight of cars and trucks every day, sits out in the sun and the rain all year, and is one of the first things people see when they pull up to a home or business. Concrete holds up to that kind of use, keeps a clean look and gives you a solid surface to park on, walk on and back out over.

Some driveways are new, on a lot that never had one or where gravel has worn out. Others are replacements, where old concrete has cracked, sunk or broken up and patching no longer makes sense. Extensions add width for a second car or a parking pad beside the main drive, and the apron is the piece that connects the driveway to the street.

Things to think about before you call

It helps to know roughly how big the area is, what will park on it and whether any old concrete or other material has to come out first. Think about how water runs across the yard when it rains, since a driveway should move water away from the house and garage rather than toward them. If you are in a neighborhood with an association, check whether it has rules on driveway size or finish.

With that in hand, call or send a message with the address and what you have in mind, and we can talk through the job for your home or business in North Jacksonville.

Common questions

Can you replace just part of a driveway? Sometimes a damaged section can be cut out and poured new, and sometimes the whole driveway is worth replacing. It depends on how much is damaged and why, which is something to talk through on the call.

What does it cost? Every job is different. Price depends on the size of the area, the location, how the site needs to be prepared and whether old concrete has to be removed first, so the best way to get a number is to call and describe the job.

How soon can the work start? That depends on the time of year, the weather and the schedule when you call. Ask about timing for your job when you reach out.
